In my lineage of Western style Usui Reiki – Usui Shiki Ryoho, Third Degree is divided into two levels.
Reiki 3A level
Reiki 3A is for people who would like to increase their healing ability and be able to access the full Master energy but who do not wish to teach. You need to have been working with Reiki for a considerable time before discussing taking this class with a Reiki teacher.
The class includes a review of everything you have learnt within your Reiki practice so far including giving and receiving treatments. You will also learn a number of advanced techniques for using Reiki energy to solve problems and achieve goals. Considerable time is also spent discussing every aspect of life as energy. Based on your experiences so far this becomes an interactive exchange of information within the class. You will receive the beautiful Reiki Master attunement and the Master Reiki symbol.
Reiki 3A includes:
• A review of how Reiki works, the history and lineage
• A review of the documented effects of Reiki
• A review of the practice and use of the first three Reiki symbols
• The Master symbol, it’s meaning, pronunciation and use
• When and how to use the symbol
• How to give a Reiki attunement to loved ones as a gift
• Traditional Japanese techniques
• Advanced techniques for using Reiki to solve problems and achieve goals
• An overview of professional practice
Reiki 3A is a two day class and a comprehensive manual is included. A certificate is presented at the conclusion of the class.
Classes are held at The Reiki Studio on the beautiful Whangaparaoa peninsula, about 45 minutes from Auckland city.
Reiki 3A class fee: $400 (either one-on-one or part of a small class of 2-4 people)
Pre-requisite: Reiki 2 and a minimum of 6 months of actively using Reiki in your every day life
Schedule: usually a Friday/Saturday or two consecutive Saturdays (however this can be adapted to suit)
Please note that this class does not give you the ability to teach. Should you decide to do the Master-Teacher level with me at a later date, the cost of this workshop will be deducted from this fee.
Attending our local Reiki Share group (or one in your area) is a great way to continue to practice giving Reiki to others once you have completed your class.

Reiki Master-Teacher level
The second step is known as Reiki 3b or Reiki Master Teacher. Here you learn how to give Reiki attunements and how to teach. Becoming a Reiki Master or Master-Teacher is an opportunity to deepen your commitment to the practice of Reiki and involves considerable preparation. This level normally takes between 6 and 12 months to complete. It is a wonderful and blessed journey to experience! If you would like to discuss this level please get in touch.
