Once you have gained experience by practicing Reiki you may choose to continue your training and take a Reiki 2 (Second Degree) class. Here you will learn and work with three of the four Reiki symbols and be taught how to practice Reiki distance healing.
The three Reiki symbols are effective tools to help support healing and personal development for yourself and others. Learning how to send Reiki from a distance means you will be able to offer Reiki to friends and family even if they are not present with you. The Second Degree attunement enhances your access to Reiki and the Reiki 2 class deepens your relationship with this transformative energy.
Reiki 2 includes:
• A review of how Reiki works, the history and lineage
• A review of the documented effects of Reiki
• The origins of Reiki symbols
• The first, second and third Reiki symbols, how they work and their meanings
• Pronouncing and practicing drawing the three symbols
• When and how to use the symbols
• Practical uses for the symbols
• Distance healing and practice
• Traditional Japanese techniques
• An overview of professional practice
Reiki 2 is a two day class and a comprehensive manual is included. A certificate is presented at the conclusion of the class.
Reiki 2 class fee: $240 each as part of a class of 2-4 people
Pre-requisite: Reiki 1
Schedule: usually a Friday/Saturday or two consecutive Saturdays (however this can be adapted to suit)
Classes are held at The Reiki Studio in Whangaparaoa, or by arrangement on the North Shore in Auckland. One-on-one tuition available by arrangement.
